The Reverend Debra W. Haffner is Co-founder and Executive Director of the Religious Institute. An ordained Unitarian Universalist minister, she is the endorsed community minister with the Unitarian Church in Westport, CT.

Dr. Kate Ott is Associate Director of the Religious Institute. She holds a doctorate in Christian Social Ethics from Union Theological Seminary in New York and a Master of Religion degree from Yale Divinity School.

Timothy Palmer is Director of Communications and Outreach and leads LGBT initiatives for the Religious Institute. He has a Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary in New York and a Master of Arts and undergraduate degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.

Kayla Parker is Executive Assistant for the Religious Institute. A graduate of The George Washington University, she has worked extensively with international and interfaith organizations.

Amanda Winters is the 2009-2010 Scholar in Residence at the Religious Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Carleton College in Northfield, MN, where she focused on the biopsychology of sexual orientation and gender identity.
