Course Syllabi
The Course Syllabi resource allows educators and others to look for course syllabi related to the intersection of sexuality and religion. We hope that educators will find this resource helpful as a tool for research, pedagogy and course development. This collection is meant to be ongoing and expanding; we will continue to solicit new syllabi from educators to maintain the dynamic nature of the resource.
How to use the Course Syllabi search:
- You can search by keyword to find course syllabi in PDF format (Download Adobe Acrobat Reader).
- You can also search by topic (e.g., sexuality, LGBT, gender, etc.) or by discipline (e.g., Ethics, Theology, Pastoral Counseling, etc.)
- If you are an educator, we encourage you to submit your own course syllabi for consideration.
- All content contained in the Course Syllabi resource is for informational purposes only. All content remains copyright of the educators or the educational institutions for which the content was written.
The American Academy of Religion, Kolot Center for Jewish Women’s and Gender Studies, and the Wabash Center Internet Guide to Religion also have relevant syllabi projects.
We also encourage you to join our Forum, where you can discuss new resources, ask colleagues for recommendations, and share your knowledge of books and articles related to these issue. The Forum is a symposium where faculty, clergy, educators, students, activists and faithful voices come together to discuss news and issues in sexuality and religion.
