Books and Articles
The bibliography of Books and Articles enables educators, clergy, theologians, seminarians, congregational committees and individuals to search for books and articles related to sexuality and religion. This resource consolidates a large number of texts from class syllabi and various other online and print bibliographies into a searchable online resource.
How to Use the Books and Articles search:
- You can search the bibliography by title, author, publisher, and publication date.
- You can also search by topic (e.g., sexuality, LGBT, gender, etc.) or by discipline (e.g., Ethics, Theology, Pastoral Counseling, etc.)
- We encourage you to submit new books and articles for consideration to the bibliography.
Other organizations and institutions have developed bibliographies related to religion and sexuality issues. Most focus on one or two topic areas. We have provided external links to three relevant resources: The Wabash Center, the Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies in Religion, and the Jewish Women’s Archives.
We encourage you to join our Forum, where you can discuss new resources, ask colleagues for recommendations, and share your knowledge of books and articles related to these issues. The Forum is a symposium where faculty, clergy, educators, students, activists and faithful voices come together to discuss news and issues in sexuality and religion.
